The West Palm Beach Alumni Chapter is currently in re-chartering mode and already has ten members and will be submitting their reactivation package to Central Office on April 1st!
And we are off to a great start! Two Deltasig’s, Michael Ray and Jacquie Stephens, who have committed to being officers in the West Palm Beach Alumni Chapter presented seminars at the Southern Provincial Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Michael Ray, Zeta Phi, presented a motivational, interactive call to arms in the Delta Sigma Pi “Recruitment Bootcamp”. This was Brother Ray’s first time presenting at a Delta Sigma Pi conference, but the audience was captivated by Michael’s passion. Michael gave a nod to the Toastmaster’s organization for assisting him in developing his polished approach.
Jacquie Stephens, Zeta Phi, who is a recent Honorary Initiate, spoke on stress and time management in her presentation “How to Say No”. Brother Stephens drew from her experiences as a paralegal for high conflict cases and the fact the she is a trained licensed E-RYT 200 yogi. The packed crowd learned the importance breathing properly and even presented a meditation demonstration. Deltasig’s learned that they cannot give unless they are able to properly care for themselves and were given some tools to do so.
The West Palm Beach Alumni Chapter hopes to #DoSomethingThatMatters by:
- Giving Brothers in the proximity a networking / social opportunity.
- Provide members with opportunities for Community Service.
- Actively support the Leadership Foundation
- Bring about positive change to Delta Sigma Pi
The West Palm Beach Alumni Chapter has a history within this fraternity. We are looking forward to bringing back that greatness back!
